In addition to our shiny, new blog, MXTabs.net has also been working hard to improve our other social media outlets. Maybe you’re thinking, “Hmm… that’s cool. But what’s the big deal?” Well, we believe there is no better way to build the best free tab site on the internet than to reach out to you, dear readers, in as many ways as possible, so that together we can build a MXTabs.net that we can all love and be proud of.

With that in mind, today I’d like to highlight three social media sites that we strongly encourage you to follow us on, the first being our MXTabs.net MySpace page. Seeing as we are getting close to unveiling a new licensing system optimized for indie bands and solo artists, this is especially important if you are interested in promoting your band’s music through guitar, bass, or drum tablature. In short, you will soon be able to direct people from your band’s MySpace page to your band’s music on MXTabs.net… and get paid by doing so!!!

In the meantime, be sure to check out our MXTabs.net Twitter account too. If you don’t already know, Twitter is a popular micro-blogging service that allows people to stay connected through the exchange of short, frequent answers to one simple question: what are you doing right now? Basically, this means that by following MXTabs.net on Twitter, you will be getting a behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day runnings of the site, including sneak-peaks of upcoming tabs, blog posts, and site updates. Additionally, you will soon be able to display your twitter status on your MXTabs.net profile page.

Finally, please stop by the MXTabs.net Facebook page. Most of you probably already have a Facebook account anyway, so please drop by ours sometime and leave a comment, add a fan photo, start a new discussion, or simply find other MXers to discuss your favorite music with.
