Ok, first thing’s first: last week I mentioned that I would tell everybody why this new blog column of mine is called Sheriff Picks, so let me cover that real quickly before moving on to today’s topic, Song Tabs with Days of the Week in the Title.

Many moons ago when I first began licensing songs for MXTabs.net, the website that you’ve come to know and love didn’t exactly exist yet, save in the minds of a few dedicated marketers, web developers, and database gurus. Then, in February of 2008, voila! MXTabs.net opened in a public alpha phase, complete with the now familiar MXTabs.net Forum. As with all forums, someone was needed to “police” the message board, and that job fell to me. If you visit the MXTabs.net Forum much, I believe it was kaliphonia who first dubbed me the “sheriff.” For whatever reason, the name must have resonated with others around the office as well, because soon almost everyone was calling me “sheriff.” In fact, nowadays, sometimes I wonder if anyone here even knows my real name anymore!

So yeah, I’m the “sheriff,” but don’t let that moniker mislead you… I’m actually a pretty nice guy who just happens to love music and is lucky enough to work for a great website where I can talk about music all day long. I’m also someone who now wants to share his picks of Song Tabs with Days of the Week in the Title, so let’s stop beating around the bush and get to the list.

Actually, I should probably mention that I had to cheat a bit for Wednesday. I couldn’t find any song tabs with Wednesday in the title, so I resorted to the next best thing – song tabs by the band, Wednesday 13. Sorry, it’s the best I could do.
