As most everybody and their mother knows by now, Guitar Hero 5 was released in North America on September 1, 2009. Aside from the controversy over Kurt Cobain’s avatar lip-syncing the likes of Flavor Flav and Bon Jovi, the game has generally been very well received, and the track list itself has been noted for its musical diversity.
